a style of arguing in which someone tries to win a debate (= a political, etc. discussion) by using so many different arguments so quickly that their opponent cannot answer them, although these arguments may not be true, correct, or reasonable

The term “Gish gallop” derives from biochemist and key figure to the creationist movement, Duane Gish. He is a prophet for the willfully ignorant. Known for his style of debate in which he would bombard his opponent with a rapid fire of questions constructed to confuse and exhaust his opposition. These questions would often cite a misinterpretation of data using a credible source from the arguing party’s constituents. For an uniformed audience, Gish’s confidence when misrepresenting data now places the onus on the research expert to spill time clarifying the information to the throng. This effort, however successful, is thwarted when a Gish poses yet another tactically assured, absurd untruth. The audience leaves thinking, “Ha! I’m more smart then a expert!”

Congress Joint Session; the Nightmare Blunt Rotation

This is not a political post. Trying to type my thoughts as I watch Orange Cream Pie address Congress and the nation live on the NBC feed. Cream Pie is entering the room. It’s uncanny. It looks like WrestleMania in a courtroom. He’s shaking hands with John Roberts, Brett Kavanaugh. The room is clapping. Colorado representative, Laura Boebert looking like she’s squirting on a Sybian saddle. They are smiling in such a horrifyingly empty and pleased mask like manner. Botox is talkin’, babes. Orange Cream Pie just said “America is back!”

The room now sounds like a rowdy second grade classroom with an overwhelmed substitute teacher. Though, I honestly believe the second graders would have had more decorum. Now it has turned into a chant of “USA! USA! USA!” We’ve sportswashed our acting government. Trump is again very much forcing this repeated lie of winning the election. It’s funny because during the “Presidential” Address Pre-Game Show, Hogan Gidley, was also being quite adamant when repeating Trump had won so convincingly.
